Rail journey through northern India 'remarkable'

People jetting off on flights to India this year should think about booking a place on the Maharaja Deccan Odyssey, one travel journalist has advised.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Charlotte Cory explained that travelling by rail through the northern part of the country is "like an overland cruise". She noted that the route from Bombay to Delhi provides the perfect opportunity for anyone on their first trip to India to discover the country.
