People who seek out adventurous breaks may want to think about booking flights to India later this year.
This is because tourism officials in the state of Kashmir have reportedly announced that more than 100 high-altitude peaks in the region will be opened up to travellers this summer.
Many of the mountains which are due to be made more accessible will range from 3,000 to 7,800 metres in height and will mostly be located in the Ladakh Mountains in Eastern Karakoram, it has been reported.
