Shimla opens historic landmark to tourists

People who are travelling to India on flights to Amritsar may want to think about adding a visit to Shimla to their itinerary.

Asian Lite reported that the city's Gaiety Theatre has now been opened to the public on a daily basis, allowing visitors to take in its architecture and design. Constructed more than 120 years ago, the Gaiety Theatre has often been the venue for plays which attract plenty of attention.

However, this is the first time that the building has been opened to the public during the day when no shows are taking place.
