Air France operates first 'green flight'

Travellers who are always on the lookout for cheap flights but who would like to be more environmentally friendly may be interested in the latest initiative from Air France.

On April 6th, the carrier operated the first optimised transatlantic flight, which was specifically designed to cut noise and emissions levels. The airline introduced procedures to make the plane more energy efficient during the nine-and-a-half-hour flight to Miami from Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport.
