Malaysian Airlines introduces iPad self-service terminals

Anyone who has booked flights to Thailand or other south-east Asian destinations with Malaysian Airlines could find that they get to experience the latest innovation in the carrier's check in process.

The company has introduced new self-service kiosks that utilise Apple iPads on a trial at Kuala Lumpur airport. Passengers will now be able to perform a range of ticketing transactions at the new terminals, such as booking and paying for flights, checking in and looking up flight schedules.
