Emirates’ entry into Vietnam’s travel market with a ‘7 days-a-week non-stop flight’ is a part of its meticulous expansion plans and may spell availability of tickets on cheap flights for travellers due to increased competition in the region.

Ho Chi Minh City is Emirates’ 124th destination and eighth route launch this year. Other newly launched routes include Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro (launched on 3rd January); Dublin (9th January); Lusaka and Harare (1st February); Dallas (2nd February) and Seattle (1st March).

  1. Travel has a way of stretching the mind. The stretch comes not from travel's immediate rewards, the inevitable myriad new sights, smells and sounds, but with experiencing firsthand how others do differently what we believed to be the right and only way.
