People taking cheap flights to Chennai or other exciting destinations for the start of a gap year trip have been advised to make sure they have a good insurance policy in place.
Offering tips to travellers heading away for either a full year or just a few weeks, Tom Hall from Lonely Planet advised that it is vital to get it sorted before leaving home as it can be difficult to do when overseas.
He explained it is often better to do in advance, to ensure that it is not forgotten about.
